I can’t believe how fast this last year has flown by… Trace + I celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary the other day… to think a year ago we were standing at the altar making lifelong promises to one another!
This is our favourite shot from our wedding… courtesy of our dear friends Trish + Joel of Tealily Photography fame! For those who had been wondering what we look like, now you know! (we’re the crazy clowns on the far left with the stripey pants! NOT!! :P)
1 year ago we honeymooned around the world… visiting friends and family in Singapore, London, New York and Vancouver… we spent 3 amazing weeks in the Canadian Rockies exploring the beauty of Jasper, Lake Louise and Banff
Singapore at night…
‘Ole London Town meets the 21st Century!
Trump ice skating arena, Central Park NYC!
Jasper, Alberta Canada on a -25C day!!
At the top of Whistler Blackcomb looking back over the Rockies… (we were the only people there just before they closed the chairlifts for the day and it was eerily silent!!!) Just standing there and taking it all in made you feel so incredibly small… puts into perspective how awesome and majestic God is!
The Incredibly Majestic Fairmont Banff Springs!
1 year on we holidayed with 7 other friends in Japan! Hitting the awesome powder of Niseko and discovering the rich culture of Tokyo and Kyoto
One of the first things we saw when we landed at New Chitose Airport… a Pokemon Plane!!! This so sums up Japan don’t you think??!!
Then for some time to ourselves, we went up to the Hunter Valley for a quiet weekend… we were meant to go Hot Air Ballooning, but the winds were not co-operative that morning sadly… instead we were treated to this incredible sunrise!!! (think I might get this printed for one of our walls!)
We went to the ‘Day on the Green’ concert featuring Diana Krall with supporting acts by Katie Noonan and the Captains, Melody Gardot and Madeleine Peyroux and it was fabulous!!
They wouldn’t allow professional cameras into the event so we had to resort to our trusty “little” Canon G10…
We are so blessed to have each other, to have so many family and friends who have been so supportive of our work and art, and to have met so many wonderful clients who have become new friends…
1 year has flow by in the blink of an eye… We can’t begin to imagine what God has in store for us for this year and the years to come… If this last year was anything to go by, all we know is that it’s gonna be an exciting ride!! We hope you can join us!!! 🙂
